As a communication expert, I accompany board members, senior executives, and leaders in recognizing their communication potential and integrating it into their daily lives.
Language has an impact on our consciousness and our culture. I have experienced this every day for many years when working with my clients. A different language conveys a different image or view of the world, it sharpens, changes, and turns perspectives and guides trains of thought.
Whether German, English, French, etc. – languages bring a context that steers us in one direction or another. Those who build language competence, who know and use the power of language, have many more resources and tools at their disposal to be effective as leaders. Those who know their strengths and build on them will successfully use their full potential.
How I will work with you:
Actually, the following should be obvious, but I have experienced too often misconceptions about how – or even on what basis – training and coaching take place.
First and foremost is a needs analysis or a precise definition of what is to be achieved. Without an exact goal, it is impossible to find the right way. All persons involved must be included in this process.
Only in the case of business coaching there must be no clear guidelines regarding the behavior on the part of the company. In this case it is about a support which should enable the coachees to use their whole potential in the best way.
In the second step, I develop a customized approach and select appropriate methods to achieve this goal. These are coordinated with you and the company during the preparation.
In the third step, I conduct the training, consulting, or coaching and always keep an eye on whether adjustments are necessary because the requirements may change due to development or a changed perspective.
Climbing or playing with Legos can be fun but is in no way the content of a training or coaching. Entertaining and exciting exercises on the other hand contribute to create engagement and momentum, provided they remain a tool serving the construction of the training.
Moreover, fun is a very important factor that plays a major role, because we know that new networking of our neurons in the brain – and that means learning – only takes place if it has positive emotional connotations.
